Galitos Remo is once again bringing an exciting event to Aveiro, promising to unite sports, tradition, and plenty of adrenaline! On April 12 and 13, the city will host the DESCIDA DA RIA – II AVEIRO CLASSIC SPRINTS, a regatta inspired by classic English competitions such as Oxford vs Cambridge and the Henley Royal Regatta.

The Descida da Ria 2024 once again filled the waters of the Ria de Aveiro with color, joy, and an adventurous spirit! This iconic event brought together hundreds of participants ready to row, have fun, and create unforgettable moments in one of the most beautiful settings in Portugal.

With creatively decorated boats, enthusiastic teams, and lots of energy, the descent was marked by moments of pure fun and socializing. The route revealed breathtaking landscapes, as participants faced natural challenges and enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the ria.

The excitement didn’t end on the water! Upon arrival, there was a party, music, and plenty of celebration to end this epic day in the best possible way.
